Giovanni Cuttin’s life changes radically after tasting Marzemino.

That wine completely transforms Giovanni, once a shy bank clerk and faithful husband, into the greatest expert sommelier in Italy. As predicted by the enigmatic professor – the first to convince him to taste the wine – his professional career also takes off, and the same happens with his love affairs.

Everything seems to be going swimmingly, until he is accused of the murder of his wife Adele and put under pressure by Commissioner Sanfelice.
